Description

The SSF-A is a FLASHSCAN analog addressable combination fixed point and rate of rise (ROR) thermal detector for use with 2800 Series fire alarm panels.

FlashScan supports 159 detectors per Loop. Detectors will also run on 2800’s in CLIP mode or older Notifier panels together with CLIP devices with maximum address restricted to 99.

Detector sensitivity can be programmed in the control panel software.  Sensitivity is continuously monitored and reported to the panel.  Address setting on detectors is via two convenient dials on the base of the detector.

The SSF-A detectors include a reed switch which can be activated with a test magnet for ease of testing.
