The KAC-ABS32W is an addressable sounder designed for mounting under an addressable detector which is connected to the FireSense 2800 addressable fire alarm system. 

 A standard mounting base (KAC-LPBW) is used for cable terminations. The addressable sounder “clicks” onto the mounting base and then the addressable detector “clicks” onto the sounder making installation simple and efficient. No standard detector base is required.

 The sounder uses a module address and is powered from the addressable loop. Each sounder can be individually controlled by the 2800 panel software. Up to 99 sounders can be installed on each addressable loop and up to 60 can be activated at once.

 The Sounder is addressed via 2 rotary wheels on the rear of the sounder and dip switches are used to select different tones and volumes.
