NIFS-2008
Fire
Suppression
Control
Modules to
provide a
sophisticated
yet flexible
answer to
suppression
discharge
requirements.
The system
has been
designed and
built to
comply with
Australian
Standards
including
AS4214 and
AS4428.
The system
can be used
as either
single or
dual risk.
The dual
risk can be
any two of
three inputs
for
discharge of
the gas.
Adjustable
time delays
between
second stage
alarms and
gas release
are
provided.
The NIFS
2008 Fire
Suppression
Control
Module
includes a
maintenance
gas isolate
switch which
will prevent
the gas from
being
discharged
manually or
automatically
during
scheduled
maintenance
or service
of the
system.
All of the
inputs, and
the warning
sign and gas
firing lines
are fault
monitored to
ensure that
system
integrity is
ensured at
all times,
thus
resulting in
lowered risk
to critical
equipment or
processes.
Provisions
have been
made for the
connection
of remote
"Stop/Start
Gas
Stations".
These
stations can
be used to
manually
release the
gas in the
case of
emergency.
Isolation
buttons are
provided to
prevent
automatic
gas release
from the
zone inputs,
or to
disable the
manual
release on
the same
unit. Manual
releases on
other
"Stop/Start
Gas
Stations"
are not
affected by
the status
of isolation
switches on
other
units.
